Duane DeSoto Is the world champ.
The Hawaiian surfer, has conquered his first World Longboard title, after beating the French Antoine Delpero, in Makaha, Hawaii,west side.
DeSoto was playing in home waters, in front of friends and family, but showed a great skills to win the Oxbow longboard.
“This feels insane,” DeSoto said. “I’ve been trying for so many years and I’m 33 and I finally got a title. I started doing these when I was 16. I’m just so incredibly happy to be here and it couldn’t get any better”.
In the semi-final, the Hawaiian defeated his fellow mate Bonga Perkins, the 38-year-old experienced longboarder.
